Eating raw foods increases the amount of anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant compounds in your blood. This helps with the pain.

The juice recipe which is explained here has a lot of healthy ingredients. This includes ginger, turmeric and pineapple. These reduce pain by increasing the anti-inflammatory response of the body.
Histamine levels of your body are reduced by turmeric. Ginger reduces prostaglandin levels in the body which indicate pain levels. It does this by releasing compounds called gingerols, shogaols, paradols and zingerones.
Ingredients:
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 2 cups ripe pineapple
  • 2 inches fresh turmeric root
  • 3 large carrots
  • 2 pears
  • 1 lemon, peeled
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root
Method: Mix all ingredients in a juicer. Have as a juice or as a smoothie.
