My thoughts
Let me start off with the eye shadow palette which has some nice wearable colors. Most colors are neutrals which appear soft and natural against my complexion. You have got a mix of matte and frosh finishes with smooth, blendable texture and good pigmentation.

Then we have the powder blushes: Heavenly, For Cute!, Cheeky and Modesty. Again, like the eye shadows, they’re all packed with pigment and are soft to the touch. I am in love with Heavenly. It is such a lovely muted peach and I just love the way it flatters my skin tone – so beautiful! All blushes are matte and do not contain any sparkle whatsoever.

The collection also contains lip glosses and lip bases. I am not a lip gloss person however I like the fact that they’re super shiny. I would’ve liked it even better if they had good staying power. On the other hand, the lip bases are wonderful! They’re creamy and have a good staying power. The colors are so pretty on their own you don’t need to apply anything over it – I know I wouldn’t.

It’s a thumbs up from my side!

Fall Softly Eye Shadow Palette is priced at $39. The blushes cost $12 each. The lip glosses at $10 and the lip bases cost $12 each. For purchase, visit Sigma's website.

Sigma Standout Eyes Gel Liner Collection – Review & swatches

I prefer using gel liners as opposed to liquid or pencil ones. Gel liners, in general, apply smoothly and appear intense. With the right brush, you can apply like a pro with no trouble at all.

    Standout Eyes Gel Liner Collection
The Sigma Beauty Standout Eyes Gel Liner Collection features an array of long-wearing, opaque and saturated colors. All gel liners are versatile, yet unique and unexpected with intense pigmentation and a smooth, fluid-like finish. Paraben-free.

Sigma Standout Eyes Gel Liner Collection Swatches (L-R): Royally Striking, Standout Peacock & Wicked
    My thoughts
The Standout Eyes Gel Liner Collection includes six shades: Unexpected, described as a neutral stony grey, Liberally Toasted, described as toasty warm brown, Stunningly Ladylike which is described as a dark brown-black, Royally Striking which is bright purple, Standout Peacock which is a deep indigo blue and Wicked which is a jet-black shade. The collection also contains two angled eye liners brushes.

The gel liners are creamy and glide smoothly. The brushes that come with the collection make application a piece of cake, believe me. I don’t think they’re very pigmented; you need two swipes to achieve absolute intensity. Do not build more than twice. I am saying this because it has tendency to flake and that looks pretty ugly in my opinion. Once it is set, it doesn’t budge and stay put for hours though on a hot and humid day, it might transfer onto the crease so watch out for that. Standout Peacock is my favorite from the collection. Pigmentation wise, Wicked is my second favorite.

Overall, I like the collection for its nice colors. Formula wise, it didn’t tickle me much to be honest. Maybe I was expecting more.

A single Sigma Standout Eyes Gel Liner is priced at $14 and you can purchase it from the website. If you live in Pakistan, you can order through Rouge.

Sigma Beauty Frame Up Brow Collection – Review & swatches

Firstly, this is not how the entire kit looks like. The box I received is a press kit with additional brow highlight duo powders and pencils for review purposes. The actual kit looks like the white box inside which carries all the essentials for perfect brows.

The Sigma Beauty Brow Expert Kit contains a collection of seven fundamental tools and tints needed to arch, shape and groom the brows. Add this kit to your essential beauty routine to completely enhance your overall makeup look.

      Included in Kit:

      • Expert Trim

      • Expert Tweeze

Sigma Beauty Frame Up Brow Collection - Brow Pencils
Sigma Beauty Frame Up Brow Collection - Brow Pencils (L-R): Clean Cut, Dressed Up, Elevate & Top Shelf
      My thoughts
I usually thread and tweeze the brows myself – and no, it has never been a problem for me. The kit has got EVERYTHING you need to groom and shape your brows. I already own the brow powder duo and I love it. The tools are pretty handy too. Expert Tweeze and Expert Trim are extremely precise. I really like the brow shaping scissors. The size and weight is perfect; gives me absolute control whilst trimming.

The kit also contains a dual-ended brow and lash brush and a brow wax which actually isn’t bad. I was skeptical about it in the beginning but having tried it a couple of times changed my view. It’s supposed to hold your brows in place which it does quite well however my brows feel a little stiff and sticky. Just don’t overdo it. Apply while keeping a light hand and you’re good to go.

The brow highlight duo contains both shimmer and matte powder. All duos have got a nice silky feel and apply effortlessly. The pencils are not part of the kit. You gotta buy them separately. I must say they’re all creamy to apply but not too soft which is good because you don’t want a soft tip that breaks easily or doesn’t let you sketch your brows accurately. You can easily acheive a natural and defined look with these.

All in all, I really like the kit. For $49 you got all the basics you need to create flawless brows. Yon can also get the individual products from the website. If you live in Pakistan, you can get this from Rouge.

      My thoughts
Let’s talk about the palette first. The pigmentation and texture of the Smoke Screen palette is very similar to Warm Neutrals by Sigma. The matte shades are especially soft and blend-able. None of the shadows were chalky or difficult to work with however you might notice some fall out. On the whole, I am very happy with it. One thing that I would like to point out is that Sigma has improved its eye shadows incredibly. I think it’s safe to say that the quality is on a par with some of the best high-end eye shadows that I’ve tried to date.

The lip glosses from the collection are okay-ish. I love Eleven; it’s such a beautiful shade. The pigmentation is sheer and the formula is non-sticky. The shine isn’t long-lasting but that’s very much the case with almost all lip glosses out there.

I find the lip concealer quite interesting since I haven’t tried anything like it before. The texture is a cross between a lip balm and a creamy concealer. It covers my natural lip color and turns rather matte once it is set. It’s nice!

The eye liners from the collection are pretty average – didn’t catch anything outstanding. The colors are cool though. My only gripe with the pencils is that these aren’t totally smudge-proof. I have noticed that on a hot day, the color transfers on to the area slightly above the crease which looks bad. But yes, they’re creamy and pigmented so that makes them fun to use nonetheless.

I LOVE the blush that comes with the collection. Born To is a gorgeous color. On the website it is described as rose wine. It has tiny silver specks in it but that doesn’t make it very shimmery. I think it’s a universally flattering shade that will look good on any complexion. The texture is wonderful; soft and easy to blend. Love the pigmentation too. A big thumbs up from my side.

Overall, Born To Be Collection is worth checking out.

      My thoughts
This year we saw some amazing products one after the other by Sigma and this collection is no exception. The eye shadow palette is my favorite. It has got matte and shimmer shadows with good pigmentation and soft texture – very pleased with the matte shades. Though there is some fallout in the pan but that doesn’t break my heart.

The blushes too are pigmented, soft and blendable. I love Serene. It looks gorgeous on my skin. Every single thing from the collection has got incredible color pay off so no complaints. The brushes that come with the collection are great – they’re soft, dense and the handles are perfect.

All in all, the Enlight Collection is a winner in my books.

Sigma Beauty Enlight Collection is an L.E and is priced at $165. It can be purchased directly from the website. To purchase products individually from this collection follow the link here. Sigma ships worldwide.
