Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush In Exposed – Review & swatches

I can’t even begin to describe how much I like this product. It’s my top favorite at the moment and I find myself reaching to this a lot.

Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush
A long-wearing, solar-baked blush that lasts up to 12 hours.

Infused with natural clay harvested from the banks of the Amazon River and naturally baked by the sun, this nutrient-rich blush benefits all skin types for a fade-free flawless finish that lasts an amazing 12 hours. Inspired by Tarte's bestselling shades of cheek stains and lip tints, the colors range from soft to vivid to suit a wide variety of skintones. For oily skin types, Amazonian clay minimizes oil in and around pores to balance skin and keep product in place. Those with dry skin will benefit from the clay's nourishing and hydrating properties, which naturally restore skin's moisture. Combination skin types can rely on its ability to zero in on skin concerns and deliver benefits to restore complexion harmony. The result? Blush that wears better, longer, and truer!

My thoughts
The pretty-looking packaging looks very tempting to begin with. Not only that, it’s quite sturdy too so I think traveling with it wouldn’t be a problem. Exposed is such a gorgeous nude color. It’s a dusty pink with a hint of mauve and looks extremely natural on my skin. Moreover, it looks matte with no visible shimmer which makes it even better. I love wearing it every day; it gives a natural flush and makes my skin look healthy and fresh. Personally, I think it would look good on many skin tones.

The product is quite pigmented so I don’t need to swirl my brush a lot for it to show up against my skin. It feels soft and silky to the touch and blends beautifully. There are no fall-out issues too. When they say its fade-free, they really mean it. The color stays on my skin for more than seven hours – can’t say much about the twelve hour claim for I haven’t tried that yet. There’s absolutely nothing that I don’t like about this. Overall, I am in LOVE!!

You might not like it if...
  • You think it's pricey
  • You go overboard with application
My rating
